Description of Ryukyu-Tatami
One of the characteristics of Ryukyu tatami is that it does not have “edges” like regular tatami.
You can easily create a tatami corner by simply laying Ryukyu tatami on your flooring. With tatami mats, you can adjust the size to suit the space you want to install them in, and they are also easy to transport. This is an excellent rug that can be stored away when not in use.
Match with Western-style rooms
There is no such thing as “you can’t use tatami unless you are in a Japanese-style room.” Tatami mats are a great interior accent for Western-style rooms.
